![]() Some fighters are very good with hardly any wobble at all & others wobble all over the place. Try using the realistic settings in game & use in game settings to fine tune your joystick. Most bombers are great to fly in AB with joystick. Even with these setting you will still get rudder wobble that varies from plane to plane. My Logitech profiler ( joystick software ) settings are X-axis sensitivity 60%, Dead zone 10%, Range 100%, Y-Axis Sensitivity 60%, Dead Zone 10% & Range 100%, Twist sensitivity is 10%, Dead zone 10% & Range 100%. I have been using the Logitech extreme 3d pro in WT for about 18 months. If anyone has the Same joystick Logitech Extreme 3d Pro and has a nice set up I'd be willing to try it out all I really want to do is take care of the wobble. Hope that gives a bit more info, should have been more specific in my first post. I have tried numerous adjustments and set ups and copied them from Youtube videos and found one thats somewhat ok but still got crazy wobble from side to side not as bad in my up and down motion. I will try to adjust the pitch as some have said and see if that helps. I do not however have much of an issue with bombing and hitting my targets I have over 300+ ground units destroyed but only about 25 planes destroyed myself in dogfights and another 25 killed by my gunners in bombers. I am flying with realistic controls and primarily level 2 and 3 planes have unlocked all level ones but dont use them any more as I cant compete with the higher level planes speed especially in a dogfight. I am not using 3rd person view or cockpit it's the one in between where all I see is my aiming device and nothing else not sure what view that would be called. I am flying all US planes have not tried any other ones in my month or more of playing. Completely different to mouse where you don't fly the plane, just point and direct the instructor who tries to do what you want as efficiently as possible. Other than that, stick has direct control and is very sensitive, it takes time to develop the muscle memory. P40, P39 are like this.ĭon't know if any of the above are your problem. Only other thing is that some of the USA planes mouse users love with the big 37mm cannons are pretty awful, they do not pitch well of you are aggressive with the stick, about quarter travel and you hit a wall with the control surfaces, so aggressive movements makes the pitch wobble back and forth. Most of the profiles will only work properly in realistic where the plane responds correctly to your input. Most stick users fly realistic controls (no engine management and trim but also no instructor) But simple controls are terrible for joystick, the instructor makes some planes unflyable trying to stop your pitching etc and basically fighting for control. ![]() I have also tried using my rudders switching to combat and that doesnt help, I tried using my trim button to make me more steady and that doesnt seem to work either? Any suggestions? ![]() When bombing it's not to bad I can do a slight movement at slower speeds and hit my target but when it comes to dogfights if I'm on someones tail trying to line up and hit the marker(shooting ahead of target) I am all over the place bouncing up and down and side to side, almost like I cant control it to get aim. I have tried adjusting the correction and sensitivity but nothing seems to improve it.Does anyone else know how to fix this so my plane is a bit more steady? Also when I want to move side to side with my axis 3 movement it bounces back and forth when I release. ![]() What keeps happening is when I'm flying my planes doesnt matter which one, I pull back or push forward on the joystick and my plane will go in the correct direction and is very responsive but as soon as I let off joystick it almost automatically goes back to where I was before. I have a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro Joystick and have watched multiple video's online as well as came on the forums to see what settings other players use and have pretty much tried them all. ![]()
